Bordering the province
of Murcia, Pulpí forms a little peninsular sheltered from the
east and west winds. Its coastline has beaches of fine sand, abundant
vegetation and touristic nuclei such as San Juan de Terreros. Untouched
areas such as the little islands of Terreros and Las Palomas are of
ornithological interest. Inland, an area traditionally dedicated to
agriculture and live stock farming, the landscape is comprised of
extensive fields of almonds, melons, lettuces, etc.
